Creating a logo is a complex process. I call the first stage "get-to-know-the-brand". In this stage, I learn how the customer sees their brand and how they plan to position it in the future. To do this, I ask the client a few questions. Download here .

Based on the client’s answers, as a designer, I created the corresponding sketches of the logo. First of all, we did a rebranding. Initially, the company was called Cross Apothecary. After defining the values, principles, and marketing feasibility, we compiled a list of potential names. The best way to come up with the right name is to follow the Creative Brief. A creative brief is a document that dissects the product/service for the creative team. It is an encyclopedia that is used to define the integrated marketing communications (i.e. relationship marketing) and the message communicated. Download here .
In the final version, the business was rebranded Soul Crafted Soaps and Such.

Phase 2: Logo design

Phase 3: Revision

In the revision meeting, I presented the above logo options. The client said that he liked it, but he wants something simpler and more abstract. Following the discussion, we decided to stick to the idea of soap bubbles. I created two other versions of the logo, where the image is stylized in a more geometrical way.

Phase 4: Final

Of the two options, the client chose a version with five soap bubbles overlapping each other. At the final stage, I created several color variations of the logo in different sizes. All deliverables were completed on time.
